App Store Screenshots

An agent skill that builds an editor for store-ready iOS and Android screenshot decks

What it is

App Store Screenshots is an MIT-licensed skill for AI coding agents that scaffolds a Next.js editor for App Store and Google Play marketing screenshots. The generated editor provides a connected multi-screen canvas, device frames, inspector controls, persistent project state, reusable themes, locale and RTL guidance, and PNG export bundles at required store sizes.

It supports iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet, and Google Play feature-graphic decks. Projects can preserve isolated-screen exports or opt into connected-canvas crops where elements span neighboring screenshots.

How to apply

  • Install the skill in a supported coding agent, then turn raw captures from an app built with Xcode into a store-listing deck for the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Use the connected canvas when a visual or headline should continue across adjacent screenshots; retain isolated-screen mode for older decks that must not leak elements between exports.
  • Pair it with Snapr when you need to capture and annotate source screens before composing the final marketing deck.

Limits

  • Features and output claims were checked only against the repository README; the generated editor and exported bundles were not run independently.

  • The README says an example deck was accepted by the App Store, but that does not establish general review acceptance or conversion performance.

  • Maintenance cadence, exact dependency versions, accessibility, and Google Play acceptance were not independently verified as of 2026-08-22.
